I am a noob who is gonna need a lot of help

I am going to set up a website that has different sections, one to buy gaming servers (like call of duty, or counter strike source) and another part for like movies and pictures and stuff, could anyone get me started on how places like youtube work? like memorizing screen names and posting and stuff. Or if anyone knows a good program that is either low cost or free, that would be good. I am probably doing too much for someone who has no clue what javascript is, and im not even sure if javascript is what i need, but if anyone could help, i would appreciate it, thx!!!

You need a server-side language, such as PHP, ASP, JSP, PSP...
