Looking for a name registering script

Hi.

I'm about to make a website, thats gonna have a lot of members. Here is what im looking for. Lets say the site is called members.html. Here is gonna be a list of all the members names, like a forums memberlist. On the page is a simple form that allow people to register a name (not password or email), and then the registered name appears on the name list.

Anyone get the idea? It just have to be as simple as possible, but still functional.

i just want to know if you know how to put that for people to register like they put there username and password ?? and how to block sites if they dont sign in ???
