How to interact pages!

Okay, I'm VERY much a novice at Javascript, and I don't have time to take a professional course on it, but I know the very basics of it. I was wondering if there was a way I could have a page with a textarea in which a user could type and have it appear in a table cell (or even another text area) on a different page. If it's not too difficult to do, could someone reply with a script and maybe even a breakdown of what's happening so I can learn it better? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you want the text to be viewable by other veiwers of the page?

Yeah, I essentially want the first page or "entry" page in which the users enter information to 1) appear blank at each login 2) transmit contents to second page.

I want the second page to display the information in a <p> tag or a <textarea>, if at all possible, for others to view.

The purpose of this is to allow some html-challenged editors to make "posts" for "news reports".
