C++ and Mysql

Is there anybody that knows how to insert and select data from MYSQL using C++? If so, please answer.

Have a look at the MySQL++ C++ bindings.

I've looked at the MySQL++ C++ bindings and I've downloaded and installed the source code, but before programming anything, I read that in order to work with MS VC++(the compiler I have), I need to do some other things, which are a lot. Do you know an easier way?

Personally, I'd suggest running Dev-C++ instead, which is based on gcc. However, I lack sufficient knowledge of VC++ to help you.
