My question regards the posibilitiy of outlining an arrow, by using a script on the client side.

When I move the cursor over the drawing surface in my page, in order to start drawing the arrow, this cursor is visible to the user ( I use a crosshair cursor). I click on the drawing , and I sent the coordinates to the server. Now, the page is reloaded. When I move the cursor on the drawing surface, the line has to be outlined (change the size, the orientation, according to how I move the cursor). When I click the second time, the arrow is constructed and the the page is again reloaded, but this is done on the server side, and I already implemented it.

I need some help and suggestions or examples of a script that does that outlining of a line, according to how the user drags the mouse.
