Default Using HotSpots On Anylink Dropdown Menu

    1) Script Title: Anylink Dropdown Menu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...pmenuindex.htm

    3) Describe problem:

Here is my original website: http://www.schoolofmuscle.com/

I'm trying to speed up the loading of the page by combining images... so I'm trying to combine all of the drop down images into one single image, and then use hotspots to create the links. However, when I use hotspots the dropdown menu ends up loading to the side of the image for some reason as you can see here (run over either the "Articles" button or"authors" button)

    http://www.schoolofmuscle.com/indexdropdown.htm

Any ideas for how I can get the menu to popup below the hotspot?

    Thanks!

    Sean

That's not really the way to go. You must mean an image map. An image map isn't like an ordinary element so doesn't have position on the page like an ordinary element. It is the map's image that has position on the page. Also, styled text would look as good and load in much less time than your map. I did figure out a way to do this though, see:
