    Default Animated gif

    my animated gif is suposed to have a transparent bakground but instead is returning white. Any clue why?

    uhhh... LOL I didn't see anything animated...

    <EDIT> Nevermind.. got it in IE.. it doesn't show up in FireFox... Did you make it in PS of Fireworks and then import into DW?

    Yes it was made in fireworks and saved as a gif but, not imported into dreamweaver.

    If anyone knows I really need help Star tomorrow airs monnday on NBC and I need to get the gif working.

    I am not sure about animated gifs, when you do that with regular pics you need to export as a png to have it appear as transparent.

    Just a quickfix though... why not just make the background black? It will blend with your page background.

    I will try to find the answer for you in the mean time.

    Hey ben... looking at it from home... it is transparent.

    It still doesn't show up in firefox though... I don't think the problem is with the gif...

    Yea I just fixed it like 5 min. ago. The problem was that I was saving it with no transparency. Duh! I am trying to get it to work in FF right now.
