Default CSS Styles for <td> elements in a Table

    *NEED HELP*

Okay. I've been searching for a code that will allow me to make one <td> cell a certain height. I've got three tables on the page, one of the top for my logo, one in the middle for the main content, and one of the bottom for my menu. It works so please don't focus on whether or not that could be better.

The table with the main content has one table row and two table cells. The left table cell is the one I'm wanting to make a certain height. It has too much text to let it expand the page's height, so I'm trying to get it where it has a scroll bar so people can scroll down inside that table cell. If anybody can help me out on this, I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks.
