window.focus

Hiya,
I have a map which when regions are hovered over it swaps the image-ok.
When you click a region it opens a pop up-still ok.

However when you click another region (without closing the previously opened pop up) the parent window has the focus and the previously opened pop up has lost the focus.

How do I amend the script below to set the pop up window to focus when any region is clicked. (Because this already uses window.open I dont know how to add the window.focus function.)

I'm sure this has long since ceased to be an issue, but as it was the exact issue I was looking at today, I'll throw my solution for it up, just incase someone elses search leads them to the same place mine did me...

Throw the following attrib in your body tag of your popup!

onload="window.focus()"

I'm having an issue find an answer to a problem i'm having with the window.focus() function, I'm hoping someone here can help.

I have a submit button on my Parent Window that when clicked on it logs you into another program, with the Child Window popping up behind the Parent, using the window.blur() funtion.

When taken to the next screen in the Parent you have another button that you have to click to complete the next 2 steps in the Child Window so that it's ready for you to use.

The problem I'm having is that I cannot seem to be able to send the focus to the Child Window once I get to that second screen. Is there anyway to do this from the Parent Window? I'm unable to do anything to the Child Window since it's a completely different program.
Also the reason I have to call it on to different submit buttons is because of a delay in the time between the logon and the next step that creates your document. By having the multiple submits I'm able to complete the complete transaction.
Any help or fresh ideas would be greatly appreciated.
