overlay or add another stylesheet (not switch)

Hi,
Does anyone know of a javascript, click on a link to
add a stylesheet or particlar css styles? I'm already
using the styleswitch 1.0, for schemeswitching, but
that uses preferred/alternate sheet switching. I don't
need to switch, I need to add/overly and cookied. Can
1.0 be modified? Any thoughts?

I found a js which adds css styles, but it's not cookied.
