Animating .gif's

I am trying to make a simply animated gif file to use in a signature line at a forum. I have made avatar there that works fine via the browse button. The singanture gif has to be places in teh line with an [ IMG] tag.

The problem is that some people can see the image animate and some cannot and I can NOT figure out why. I have uploaded the image to photobucket. When I view the whole photobucket page I can see it animate (the first one).... http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e60/BCreevy/

It seems to be a problem with Internet Explorer in that anyone using that cannot see it animante, yet it is fine on firefox.

Any ideas? Thanks!

When an animated .gif is saved, depending upon the program one is using, there are various options. Often these include optimizations for byte size with additional savings if all browsers are not fully supported. This may or may not be at play because IE is also very shaky in its support of the animated .gif sometimes, buggy in other words. However, this image:



Doesn't seem to have that problem in IE and is very similar to the one you are having trouble with.

Though it doesn't load in Safari... appears to be missing from the server, though. Heh.
