want to open a new window from XML feed

hi there. i'm using magpie RSS for parsing RSS / XML on a web site. i want the hyperlinks to open a new window.

instead of trying to muck w/ the output code (which is probably the best choice, but i have to make everything complicated of course), i'm thinking that maybe there's a way to use javascript to tell all of the links from, for example, a particular DIV to open a new window. know what i'm sayin'?

maybe someone out there has a better idea already?

EDIT / BUMP:

by the way-- i don't really know the javascript for this at all... so, in case of anyone thinking i was just being lazy... lookin' for someone to write something for me... of course, that's not it. a li'l coachin would be all i'd need-- such as what DOM properties? sorry guys... i'm really pretty dense on the .js
