Can anybody pls tell me where I can get indepth tutorials on hw to use PHPMyAdmin?

I suggest not using PHPMyAdmin. MySQL provides a simple command-line client in which you can modify the database by entering queries directly. This will give you a much better feel for the database.

Twey idea is the best but if you insist on using phpMyAdmin I suggest checking their site out as the documentation is very in depth.
