    Exclamation Layer Question

    Hi.

I have a question about layers in Front Page.
If I have a webpage that has a large centerd table on it, but invisible as I just need it to place my content in it.
And now if I insert a layer, the layer can be placed everywhere I want it to be but there is the problem.
If I place the layer in a certain spot and I open the webpage the layer wont stay at where I placed.
The layer is moving around depending on the window size.
Is there a way to place that layer that it will stay exactly where I placed it in Front Page no matter what window size is opening the page.
I could force the window to open in full mode, but everybody got different monitors and settings so that is not an option.
I hope someone can help me out here.

    Thanks in advance.

Just think about the logic here.
You have percent and absolute values to work with.
If you ALWAYS want it haflway across, use 50%; if you ALWAYS want it 50pxx from the side, use that.
Aside from those, sorry, there really isn't much you can do.

You could always rework what's under it to be the same... use absoulte pixel values, then you could know exactly how far to put the other content, etc.

    Hi dir33
    Thanks for your reply.
What I don't understand is that if I have a table on that page that is not centered it works.
Only if the table is centerd the layer gets out of focus.
Isin't there a way to get the same result with a centerd table?
    Thanks again.

Not looking at your design, I'd just say it's time to get out the ol' calculator and figure out the best mix of %/px to get the job done.
Remember, the alignment is crucial... so set the alignment of the layer as well, then base measurements off that.
