    Default submenus disappear

    I'm using jQuery Multi Level CSS Menu #2. I mouseover the first 2 submenu options just fine. When I mouseover the third submenu option, the submenu disappears. I'm using the same exact code on a different site and the code works great.
    Thanks for any help

    Warning: Please include a link to the DD script in question in your post. See this thread for the proper posting format when asking a question.

    Make sure your UL list is properly nested, specifically, those sub menus that don't work. Please post a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic script so we can check it out.

    Thanks for the reply. I'm new to this kind of code. The code is not online. It is in testing. How can I send you a copy of the files involved.

    Script: jQuery Multi Level CSS Menu #2

    Attached is jqueryslidemenu.css
    Following is the section of html code involved
    HTML Code:
    <div id="myslidemenu" class="jqueryslidemenu">
      <ul>
        <li><a href="index.htm">Home</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page2.htm">Team Members</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page3.htm">Past Performances</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page4.htm">This Year </a></li>
        <li><a href="Page5.htm">Dance Videos</a></li>
            <ul style="width:500px">
              <li><A HREF="locmoti2.rm">Valentine</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="rockit.mpg">Local Motion</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="local.wmv">Local Motion</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="hillbilly.mpg">Hillbilly</A></li>

    I just played with the code and I realized that the submenu pops up over a jpg. If I mouseover the submenu outside the border of the jpg, the submenu doesn't disappear. But when I move the mouse inside the jpg border, the submenu disappears

    Yep, your list appears inproperly nested. Each parent LI needs to wrap around its sub menus (UL), for example:

    Code:
    <div id="myslidemenu" class="jqueryslidemenu">
      <ul>
        <li><a href="index.htm">Home</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page2.htm">Team Members</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page3.htm">Past Performances</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page4.htm">This Year </a></li>
        <li><a href="Page5.htm">Dance Videos</a>
            <ul style="width:500px">
              <li><A HREF="locmoti2.rm">Valentine</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="rockit.mpg">Local Motion</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="local.wmv">Local Motion</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="hillbilly.mpg">Hillbilly</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="girls.wmv">Girls Night</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="mib.wmv">Men In Black</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="tango.wmv">Tango</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="west.wmv">WestCoast</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="renegade.wmv">Rengade</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="bluefing.wmv">BlueFingr</A></li>
              <li><A HREF="cotton.wmv">CottonEye</A></li>
           </ul>
        </li>
        <li><a href="Page6.htm">Photo Album</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page7.htm">Contact/Booking</a></li>
        <li><a href="Page8.htm">Dance List</a></li>
      </ul>
      <br style="clear: left" />
    </div>
    You may want to search online for the proper syntax for nested UL lists.

    Thanks. I fixed the nesting code. It still has the problem.
    I played with the code and I realized that the submenu pops up over a jpg. If I mouseover the submenu outside the border of the jpg, the submenu doesn't disappear. But when I move the mouse inside the jpg border, the submenu disappears

    You guys are not gonna believe this. I played with the code for 2 hours. It seems that if the css code is
    <CSS>
    .jqueryslidemenu{
    font: bold 16px verdana;
    background: #e5febc;
    width: 100%;
    }
    </CSS>

    it works correctly. However, if I change verdana to arial, the submenus disappear whenever I mouseover some other code.
    Anyone got a reason for that
