    Default External HTML code

    Hi everyone,

Is it possible, without SSI, to store html codes externally like css so that all I have in the main body is headers and pointers etc to those external html codes and css files?

    Thanks

Without replacing it with some other server-side technology like PSP or PHP?

I would resist any suggestions of using client-side scripting or inline frames. They really should be the very last resort (particularly the former), and if you're already paying for hosting, I'd suggest switching to another provider (it needn't be costly) that has what you need to do the job properly.

My problem is the web page where I insert my page into is a html page. And I can't change it as it is not mine. I also don't know which web host will accept html for ssi process. Do you know any that I can test it out?

Huh? You don't control the page your page is on?
    I'm confused.

    Heck, use a frame.

Just put your whole page on a frame, on a server you do control, then have fun with it, including server side code, etc.
