PHP Code:$result = mysql_query("SELECT finger FROM hand WHERE id=3");
echo $result;
How odd. You appear to be lacking an alt-gr key.
How do you type the euro symbol (€)?

Oh that one is easy... I don't. LOL
Usually when I need to express money I leave off all marks, and put the form of money afterwards, it seems to have helped in the paypal department of one of my sites... kids "skim" the price... and 40 US is different that 40 EU, so I don't get the "HEY! You said it was ... oh I didn't read close enough" emails any more.

I bet it's a European thing.
I don't have a gr key either.
And, sidenote:
On a mac, press alt+e, then e.

You can see there that the second keyboard down (appears to be a 107-key model? 104 numbered keys, and three unnumbered) has an alt-gr key, but the top one doesn't. If you ask me, that's one of the daftest keys they could possibly leave off a keyboard, next to shift or, say, E.

I have two alts, one left and one right.
But doesn't say GR on it, nor have I ever seen a keyboard (pc or mac) that does.
Perhaps it just doesn't say it but should do the same things?

I think ol' Mary Bernard is wrong, and added that GR there.
I was in the computer shops today and I checked every keyboard they had. I even looked at the register keyboards.
Nary a GR was to be seen![]()

As you say, then, I guess it must be an American thing -- though that doesn't say nice things about American world-consciousness.![]()
