I work for a newspaper and we're trying to figure out how to get a timer working in conjunction with a tabbed content script very similar to the one found on Dynamic Drive. The link to the DD script is here:

Basically, what we want to do is deliver cover stories to the tabbed windows and have them rotate automatically on a 10 second timer, switching from story to story but allowing the user to click back to a tab if they choose to. Obviously, if they choose to click we will want the script to kill the timer. A restart function for the timer isn't absolutely necessary but if someone knows how to do it, that would be great.

I realize that this is a pretty big request but if anyone can lend a hand we would be eternally greatful.
