File Upload Form

I am trying to put a form on my website with which you can put your name and information about a file and upload a file from your computer directly into the target directory, then on a different page, have a list of the names and info and links to the uploaded file in a database-like table format, having the file names links to download the automatically added file to your computer. Basically, a file upload/download database. I have heard that Javascript has commands to save files to directories, so I tought I would post this here. Please help.

I dont think you can do that with javascript. You would prob. be better off with php.
