Advanced Gallery Script

I'm moving the css from step 1 into my external css file - no problem.

And I want to put the js (rest of step 1) into an external js file. Can someone tell me what changes are required to the code to do that, please? Will the last line of js code be a problem:

else if (document.getElementById)
window.onload=startgallery

Then I'll put the step 2 html code into my html page - any changes needed for that?

BTW, will some number of content items cause the drop down box to have scroll bars (I hope) or will it just become a very long drop down?

As a followup, I was able to extract the script as is into an external js file and it seems to be working fine. I don't yet see any issues with the..

else if (document.getElementById)
window.onload=startgallery

I was worried about onload conflicts.

And the drop down does inherit scrollers as necessary, if I wasn't the only one wondering. Also there is code that you can change the height of the drop down and that works great.

All in all, it seems like a very good way to present news. The Auto/Manual buttons provide user flexibilty - what a great idea that was/is.
