fpslideshowvar.php displays images from a folder do not work php version 7

it is a great slideshow script which work very well before php version 7 i have same problem trying to solve few months without success

i am able to display the files in text but not able to display the images
greatly appreciate anyone can help to make it work for php version 7

fpslideshowvar.php is a great script for auto display images from a folder
but unfortunately do not work on latest php version 7
