HTML for children
Hello community. Here is a question. I have two sons, 12 and 9 years old. I want them to get into coding but not to overload with difficult tags and theory. Are there on the web good online courses for children? They asked me for help writing paper on math topic for their school and I thought why not to start to teach them coding (coding requires a lot of math) through games so the process of education would be more fun and useful.

I think it will be better if someone can teach them basics of coding and let them explore more on the web. There are courses for kids udemy too.

For anybody who would come across this thread - my kids enjoyed this pluralsight.com/courses/teaching-kids-basic-html

Great to hear that you found the solution.
what the way of teaching they use? Is it prerecorded?

Actually, I just described them what they could do with the coding knowledge. The present children generation LOVE phones, tablets and computers. I told them they would be able to create such websites, develop games and of course make a lot of money. They had lit up in a moment.

That's some good parenting :-)
Definitely, once they are inspired they will have the urge to learn more and more.

Hi I suggest you w3schools the best website for beginners. I have learned a lot from this website.

It depends on the child's age. If 12-16 y.o they can find some tutorials on the web and start self learning.
For children before 12 y.o I would recommend some mobile/laptop/tablet app in a gaming format. I used to play such games even in my 25 :D while I was coding.

The security agreement certificate is very necessary. If you are shopping on an e-commerce website, there are hidden danger tips, and the customer will definitely worry about the safety of the money. So, we still have to change http to https
