Is there a way to tweak this do do that?

I have very little experience with javascript, but I think this particular script does what I'm looking for:

I need a drop down to appear with links under an image when the user hovers on the image.

This script is great, but I want the drop down to always appear under the image in the same place. Is there a way to tweak this do do that? Or is there a better script or code to do this?
