ouibounce-modal set cookie to show only once per visit/user

Hi

I am using ouibounce-modal in my website so it appears when the user goes to exit and it works but if they click no thanks button and go to another page and go to exit again the popup appears again so seeing if there is a way that a cookie can be set to only show once per user/visit, it does say it is default to show once per visit/user but it don't seem to be working, below is the coding I have

There's nothing for a cookie in the large code block in your post. The short snippet:

would tend to imply a 10 year, 10 day, 10 second, or 10 minute cookie, but it's not clear. And, as I say, there's no mention of a cookie in the supporting code you offered. Where did you get this? Perhaps there's more information there.

In addition to posting a source for this code, it would also be helpful to have a link to your page.

One more thing, if you're testing locally on the hard drive, most browsers will not save or read cookies for code on the hard drive. It usually needs to be live or on a localhost server like WAMP or XAMP.

Added later - I also just remembered that a session cookie doesn't expire until the browser is closed, and then only if it doesn't have "resume previous session" enabled.
