FIltering pages

Hi there,

First sorry if it's not the correct section, i wasn't sure where to write it.

I have a friend who is setting up a new website, and asked me to find a way to filter pages.
He created his content on pages instead of posts, and now he wants to create a page where display a layout of thumbnails with page's titles and filter them by some parameters.

I know how to set up filters with some plugins for posts and products , but would you please help me on how to create it for pages? i want to help him ;)

This is a fine place to post your question for now. We can move it after getting a better idea of what you are looking for. Can you post an example of what you are looking for?

It sounds like you are looking to either create a gallery of thumbnail images or else some sort of search feature where you can browse through a list of pages already created such as a list of pages about cooking as opposed to gardening or gardening and cooking.

It is most likely the second part, a list of pages in for instance a layout of 3 columns, with some parameters so you can filter them and you can see only cakes recipes, or recipes made with flour... similar to a shop but displaying the images of the pages instead of products.

I was wondering a plugin that do that, because on my page i run it on woocommerce and it's quite easy, but with pages i don't know one that could work for this case.

I wish I could help you more, but what you are asking for is help modifying or creating an extension for a highly advanced theme for Wordpress which is mostly paid for extensions. The support people at woocommerce would be more knowledgeable about what you are asking for than anyone else :). The contact page is located at the bottom of their page under "Support".
