It took me roughly 1 yr to fix some php code but it wasn't with a mysql db tho.
How long did it take for some of you to learn, read php coding??
I read where it take years for some & couple of wks -> days -> mths to learn & read the codes lol
I would like to know & learn more in php coding! I taught myself (no university/community college) to build websites. So self taught but I want learn deeper in web design & coding!
So, how long did it take to learn php lol
It depends on the person. For me it took maybe 3 years before I was able to create any php/mysql code with some skill. Learning MySQL was the most difficult for me as working with spreadsheets was never something I learned. MySQL/php integration was something I really wanted to learn and understand, because I knew what I wanted to do with my website and knew that I needed to learn a lot of php and MySQL.
PHP is certainly a large language with many libraries of functions such as image manipulation to database connections to array sorting to file system manipulation and many others as well. For the most part just play around with the code and have fun :)
I heard learning php & sql is hard, haven't gotten to the sql side yet lol
But I am up for anything new to learn
Tomorrow is a brand new day with new things to know & to learn hehe
