Tried deleting the lightbox code to no affect. However, I don't think I needed any of that code, so I deleted it all and now it works fine.
I've been able to upload the page again through cpanel and it works fine. The other page that was working was my 'News' page and I've also uploaded that and it's working fine. That page didn't have any of the lightbox, scriptaculous etc. code

Yeah, well I was over thinking it there a bit, so it's less confusing than I made it sound. Just getting rid of the conflicting code seems to be all you needed to do. Any lag between when you did that and it starting to work was probably due to the older version of the page being in the browser's cache.
In any case, seems to be working fine here too now.
