flex level dropdown menu

Hi

I am using this script:

Is there a way to force the dropdown to be vertical and always go down?
When my window is small my third menu (which has like 15 items) tends to go up...this causes the first items to be cut off.

Is there something i can add on the script so it forces submenus to always go down?

Please advise

The problem seems to appear on browsers like safari and IE 8 but it might also be because end-users make window smaller than 1024x768px
