how to add previous and next buttons to flash music player

Hello Everyone,

Please advise me on how to make both previous and next buttons for my music player that I'm building in Flash, using actionscript 2.0. If you only know of a way to do it in 3.0, then I'll take that, but then I may need help reprogramming all of my buttons that currently work, if the same coding can't be used in 3.0. Please explain your replies in the simplest terms that you can, because I am new to Flash and not too familiar with coding terms. Scripting examples work best for me, with areas that I need to fill-in or change, highlighted in some way.
