Exposing electronics to heat

In a few days, I will be moving across the country and driving for about 6 days. There will be an air conditioned car and a non-airconditioned metal trailer. I imagine that at times the heat will reach 120 degrees fahrenheit in the trailer.

I will of course be bringing all of my computers and other equipment.

I can put some of it in the car, but most will be in the trailer.

What items must not be exposed to this heat? Of course they will be off and this should at least help limit the problems.

I have a lot of random equipment, but here's a quick list: camcorder, computers (laptops/desktop), external hard drives, monitor.

Will any of that, if exposed to extreme heat (as mentioned above), be ruined?

The computers should be able to fit in the car, but the hard drives will probably go in one of the many boxes in the trailer... will this be a problem? I really don't want to lose all the data on them.

To be on the safe side, squeeze it all into the car. Even items that won't be ruined may be compromised, requiring repair.

I'm thinking primarily of heat sinks (though there could be other issues). One or more of these are a part of many components to protect them from operating temperatures, shutting down the component temporarily if the temperature exceeds specification. If they are exposed to that kind of prolonged heat, they may never recover, thinking forever that the component is too hot to operate, even after it has cooled down.
