What's you're really asking is how to rank better on search engines such as Google I believe, which is loosely referred to as Search Engine Optimization. There are simply too many factors that affect where you rank on Google for example, and there's no magic solution (otherwise, everyone would just apply the same method). But I think most webmasters will tell you the key is to create great content and get other sites to link to you (ie: via link exchanges). Or you can pay a SEO company to "optimize" your site, though expect to pay a few hundred or even thousand.
