please help!
where are the helps?!
www.hotscripts.com can help you choose a script, but you'll need a server-side language installed.
And google is your friend.
thanks for now! one question, when you say "installed", do you also mean downloading onto my computer???
JL
No, on your server. If your hosting is free, you'll probably need a remotely-hosted guestbook. Hotscripts can also help you there.

I do have a guest book set up via yahoo's basic website package. However, I would like to learn how to create my own, if I can.... Honestly, Yahoo's style is alittle ... umm... odd and ugly....
so, will I still have the ability to do this (via hotscripts.com)????
Ah, so it's not Geocities.
I don't think Basic Yahoo supports PHP. I was working for a client (Kakashi) who wanted the same thing, but their Yahoo package didn't support it.

You might be able to write a new interface to it... It all depends on the script. Can you give the output of the guestbook script?
thanks!
The HTML the script outputs... the source of the page where the user submits a guestbook entry and the page where s/he views the guestbook.
