I'm using swissarmy for my website to dynamicly show pictures from a map on the server. Now my problem is I have to enter this line into the body:

This works I see the pictures i have uploaded. But the problem is the size. He takes 300 pixels from the left and 300 pixels from the top. So not the whole picture. Is it possible to automaticly resize them so people can see the whole picture.

I saw he pics the biggest size and puts the smaller pics in a grey field the size of the biggest picture now

IS it not possible?

What I feel is it would be better if you try to make the image size common otherwise it'll give an inconsistency in the look and feel. As the images used in a slideshow used to have the same characteristics.

Actually, it's best to resize all your images so that they will fit into a box and set that box's dimensions for the show. Swiss Army will then center smaller images within that box. There are programs that will do this for you on a batch of images, some will even optimize the images at the same time, a good idea for any web image. If done right this is always better than having the browser resize the images. Browsers will often distort images when resizing, even when done to scale (pixelating and blurring).

You can use css to make the browser resize images though I'm not sure that will work with Swiss Army. If it will, you need to figure out what the largest resulting width and height will be and set the slide show to those dimensions, or a little larger.

Next, if this is only one slide show on a page, we deal with the images in master0 division:

Now all the images will be 300 pixels wide. Their heights will be determined proportionately by the browser.

Still, by far, you are better off resizing the images yourself, to at least fit in a box. The slide show will load faster, and the images will look better.

Does the slide show work at all? The code you posted is the main script, it shouldn't be edited unless you know what you are doing or are following instructions from someone who does. You should also have an on page part of the script, like on the demo page, edited to reflect your preferences.

And, as I said earlier in this thread, having the browser scale your images is NOT the way to go because it uses more bandwidth and often results in poor quality image rendering, but it may be done (to an extent) using css in conjunction with configuring the on page part of the script. The main script does not need to be edited for that.
