Site Logo (Typography Style)

Ok, so maybe this post should be in the "lounge", but I figured it kinda fits in this section too. Anyway, I was wondering if I could get a little feedback on the Typography style logo I came up with for my site...

cool. simple and stylish :)

I like the typography. I'm not sure I like the leaf and the 7 though. Overall, well done...

I gotta say that I am getting tired of that Wordpress theme though. lol. It's everywhere!

I like the logo. I also love the part where in the bottom right-hand corner it says "Owner feuled by Mt.Dew". My mom loves Mt. Dew. She is also feuled by it.

I'm not really a fan of anything that doesn't have brush-strokes or serifs, so I dislike it :)

Man, I LOVE brush strokes.

@master_script_maker: Thanks, that's what I was going for...

@medyman: Really? You think the leaf just doesn't quite fit? I was sort of unsure about it, but I wanted to do something "unique" with the seven rather than making the whole name plain text.

@magicyte: Thanks, and yea... I think it would be safe to say that I have an ADDICTION to Mt. Dew! LOL

@Twey: BOO! LOL, that's your personal preference... I like brushstrokes as well, but I don't think I could have made them "work" for something that I wanted to look "Simple" and "Clean". I always tend to lean more towards "grunge" when I use brush strokes. LOL

Uh, I was talking more about Han characters than Latin ones :) Brush strokes in Latin tend to look sort of messy.

It's definitely unique. It seems like a bit of an afterthought, though. Like you forgot to include the 7 and then didn't have room so you stuck it in the leaf. I think the problem I'm having is with figuring out how the leaf ties in -- with the name or w/ the site. If it were a recurring motif, maybe it would make more sense.

For me, it breaks the flow of the logotype. Otherwise, again, love the composition.

thanks for all the input... Maybe I'll rethink it. I never really thought of it that way, (afterthought).
