I have a favor to ask.

Someone who is running the latest version of iTunes

I need you to send me your iTunes.msi file because i deleted mine, thinking it was not needed.

the directory for vista is

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\

I just need the file sent to me, im not sure how big it is, i assume its pretty small.

I'm sorry, but, you don't need this.

yes, i do need it. itunes wont start, reinstall, or uninstall without it. it was removed after an update, but before starting itunes again.

but i do not need it anymore, i just waited a week for a new update to roll around, and now the new itunes.msi file has been download with the update.
