I edited the code because displaying the number of characters left is more functional then displaying the percent of the characters you have used.

Is anyone there?

This isn't very exciting because it's basically the same as the old script. I do like the new version, but I think it would be fairly easy to incorporate into the other one, with a simple variable-based option. If ddadmin likes this, I think he'll probably just add this feature, rather than having a whole new script.
