Move layer <DIV> based upon screen resolution?
Is it possible to detect a user's screen resolution and then move a LAYER <DIV> within the web page based upon the screen resolution, so as to avoid the dreaded horizontal scrollbars?
For example, if a user's screen resolution is less than 1024x768, is there a way to move a layer containing an image slideshow to a different part of the page (say, to the bottom left of the page, where the user can scroll down to view it rather than having to scroll right to see it)
Here's my site: http://www.koinoschurch.org/index.html
I am wondering if it's possible to use a "screen size detect" script or something similar to accomplish this, rather than having to build seperate pages for those with lower screen resolutions.
Any suggestions or ideas?
