Wow man...
Ever hear of KVM switches? :D
Well, if you look at the scale- the room is 17 square meters (180 square feet).
Well, I generally use 2-3 machines max at the same time, one is always on- and I use it to host the amplifier. The second "always on" is the PC (sits on the floor, with door opened). It is the noisiest thing there: 2 CPUs, 5 fans- gonna switch to Core Duo soon enough though. It's followed by B132L (left, under the CRT), and C3600 (the gray-blue, with LCD) with its two huge 5 inch fans, which don't run full speed though, but enough to give away its presence (it's still an a**-kicking machine). And there's one electronic KVM, hidden- it has some problems though so I use it with Suns and HPs only, because SGI Indy (the aquamarine thingy) sync's on green.Quote:

Boy, I'd love to have an X-MP :)
But, to be honest- I have "Cray on a chip" :D
Take a look:

However, from mainframes, I have S/390 CPU, weights 8 lbs, and is 6 inches. I also have RS64 IV module with three, 2-core CPUs.
Another option is software KVM... DD (may have been John, I don't recall... sorry) put me on to download.com to find the software for Synergy. it does the same things as a KVM switch and then some. Very nice indeed! I would check that out.
You wont get rid of any components but you can use one keyboard and mouse for all your monitors. :D
(If I can find that link again I will post it here, likewise you can search the forum for "KVM" and find the thread I started. :D
Just updated.. Found a skin module for Win XP's explorer!
