The ripples look kind of ugly when still. They're much nicer in motion.
/EDIT: Oh, now I see it. ImageShack isn't working for me, though -- a response is never sent to my request.
Is that a Frontpage Icon?
Here's mine

If your wondering, it looks weird because I have dual displays at different resolutions.
Ahh a non icon man I see... I will get my screen captures and upload them in a while, making dinner now :)
I like icons, shortcuts, folders, labels. I hate going to the start menu then all programs, etc.
This is on my Windows machine, of course. I only use certain apps and of course the games. On my Linux box I have 2 icons and the rest are in drawers on my tool bars, LMAO
Guess you like Counter-Strike too.

Nice wallpaper.
I'm not one for desktop icons. Seems pointless, since they're all covered up most of the time anyway.

. . . on a slow day . . .
Okay, here is my first. This is from my XP box. Took it while working on some Flash stuff.
Screen Capture 1
Apps and Proggies on the left, games and site items on the right. heh. chaotic organization. I like folders :D
Will get my 2 laptops and my Fedora Core screen up next time I log into them.
Edit.. wow that was huge! is there a height/width setting for posted images here? I don't want to take up the whole damn page.
I usually use openbox but I couldn't capture my screen so here's the one from Gnome.
Shot 1
shachi, quite nice (for GNOME :p). The one thing I miss in other environments is GNOME's ability to resize icons. I'd probably just end up with one big icon (all I have on my desktop at the moment is my [rather large] TODO list) but it'd be nice anyway. :)
