Outlook 2003
I'm currently using Microsoft Outlook 2003 and I was wondering if someone could help me with something small.
I searched for an email in my inbox earlier, and now it has saved in the drop down menu what I searched for. I hate when programmes do this. My question is, how do I delete what it has saved in the drop down menu.
In case you dont understand me, here is what I mean (I've blanked out what it was I searched for; it's a business email):

Thanks.

Many programs do that sort of thing. Unless there is an option in the settings/preferences section to change the behavior, the registry would need to be edited. The freeware program 'Spybot Search and Destroy' can do this for you for many programs but, be careful what you tell it to do and make backups using its backup option.
I suppose you already tried the most straightforward and obvious thing which would be to right click on the item and choose something like remove or clear history, if available.
