I will be incorporating this into all of my web projects forthwith.
I managed to create a loop almost like that while deconstructing SMF (simple machines forum) the other day. Then I fixed it.
Nothing to add, but these are great! :)
this isn't a pic, but it's hilarious. js guys will enjoy it particularly.
Put a :) on my face. That final punch line was a bit obvious, but the buildup to it made it work as far as humor goes. The Ruby stuff was lost on me (not a Ruby person yet). That all said, I was unaware of the other odd behaviors pointed out for javascript. So not only was it funny, it was also educational.
I think it was especially amusing that[] + {}
is not equal to{} + []
My favorite was Attachment 4355
Coding can be a little frustrating at times. :D
Edit: Here is the politically correct version for Traq, with my appologies to Stick Figures everywhere.
Since traq decided to bump it, might as well share this one, this is the lock screen n my iPad.

not trying to be political or anything, but this one had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe

and, in honor of my new avatar:

shouldn't it be toast toasts toast?
"Toasts toast toast," I think... anyway, I was laughing too hard to tell which word I was pluralizing : )
However, toast is the plural of toast :p
It's quite a good one anyhow :)
Ummmm... what?
Ha, ha - Taylor Swift, Jareth style!
Plus, 80s hair at its best
All I can think of is "Pan's Labyrinth". Is that it? If so, it's pretty funny.
It's from the movie Labyrinth... bizarre film. And that's a one-sentence summary of the plot.
I thought it was something like that.
Labyrinth in 30 seconds...
Imaginative teenage girl is pee'd off about being left to babysit while parents go to a party
Jareth, the Goblin King (bloke in traq's pic), and overlord of a bizarre fantasy world, offers the girl her freedom in exchange for her brother
Girl says no, but Jareth kidnaps baby brother anyway and hides him in the middle of his Goblin City - he wants to raise him as his own son
Girl has to work her way through a labyrinth to win back baby brother - making strange friends (Ludo is so cute!) completing challenges, and avoiding ostacles, like The Bog of Eternal Stench, along the way
Girl gets to center of Labyrinth with the help of her new friends, which angers Jareth - she's smarter than he initially thought
Face-off between Girl and Jareth - girl realises that she controls her own imagination/destiny and utters those deal-breaker words... "You have no power over me!"
The spell is broken - clocks chiming, fantasy world crumbles, Goblin City in ruins - and the Girl and baby are both returned home
Parents return from party to find baby brother back in his cot, and the Girl is much more appreciative of him
It's a very good film! Keebs should try and rent it :)
Though I think I've seen "Labyrinth", I'm not certain. If I have, and it's what I'm recalling, I think "Pan's Labyrinth" is better. It's more recent and has a little more depth to it.
The two aren't related. Labyrinth, for example, has muppets.
Labyrinth is more for kids, although there are plenty of adult undertones, not to mention David Bowie's obscenely tight trousers. I suppose its like a coming if age story - 15 year old girl being offered her dreams by seductive older man who wants to take her as his queen. Of course you don't see that when you're 8 (when I first watched it) but thinking about it now, there are definitely some adult themes running through it.
Has David Bowie ever "come of age"?
Kidding aside, yes they are two different films, yet more similar to each other than to many other films.
saw this today. immediately thought of this thread.

What were you doing to stumble on such a find, traqypoos? ;)
ps - Did I mention that, courtesy of this thread, I bought the DVD on Amazon a few weeks ago? LOL
