I have been trying to broadcast live music on my website using Windows Media Encoder but no one seems to be able to access my audio streaming. When I tried to connect to it myself it would let me but would not allowed other computers to do so. Is it to do with my firewall or ports? I tried to change to different available ports but still not successful. Pls help.

Maybe you put the media file in a wrong place

Make sure that the file you want to visit is in your webroot

if not, that will appear that error, for the directory is your computer in default, your computer have that file, so you can connect it yourself, and that file is not on others computer, so they can't get it, you know?

Make sure that the file you want to visit is in your webroot

Just for the record, I haven't suggested anything because I have no clue about microsoft live encoding/distributing.
Never liked wmv etc.

From what I can tell, lihang, there IS NO file to be in the webroot. It's a live broadcast.

Could you give us your URL so we can take a look at it for ourselves?
Kinda hard to help without being able to take a look at the source. ;)
