Is it possible? For example I just got a CD from a teaacher in my school with all the book lists for every year on it and also the calendar for the upcoming school year in a .doc document. It'd take for ever to type out all the tables in dreamweaver, and the site has to be done by friday (hopefully) with loads more content to put onto the pages. So basically, is there a way to upload .doc files onto the site and make them viewable as a web page.....or even a program to convert the documents into html?
Thanks,
Mark

Microsoft Word is capable of "saving as web page" from the file menu; OpenOffice.org goes it one better (or maybe not, depending on your viewpoint) in being capable of exporting as XHTML.

that or if you dont mind pdf, Open Office also does one-touch pdf's (go ahead, be mean to your classmates and keep em from coping it)

though you have to note that Open Office might position a few things differently if they are floating in the middle of the document
