Hey all!
I'm really getting into playing around with this drop-down menu stuff... but I'm having some minor problems and I have a question or two. Here is the script I'm playing with: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/switchmenu2.htm
1) as you can see here http://www.thepixelsink.com/other/jesse/test.html, when you mouseover, the text shifts up and I'm not sure why. You can download the stylesheet here: http://www.thepixelsink.com/other/jesse/sddm.css (http://www.thepixelsink.com/other/jesse/) Any ideas how I can fix that? I'm not very good with CSS... I just add stuff until it seems to work.
2) is there a tutorial or simple method by which I can have the individual submenu items fade in one by one as the sub menu opens?
Also, I don't know a whole lot about compatibility between browsers and operating systems... what should I look for as far as compatibility... is there a method or program/scripting language that tends to be more universal?
Sorry for all the questions... I'm definately new to programming. But I'm loving it so far. thanks!!
Regards,
Woody
