Hi,
I've had no problem setting up a top navigation bar using HV Menu in my home directory. But I have some pages that are generated on the fly from the cgi-bin directory. I want these to have the same top bar.

Do I need a copy of files menu_var.js and menu_com.js to reside in the cgi-bin directory? Or can I refer to them relatively, as ../home/menu_var.js for example?

How do I specify the file names within the menu_var.js file? Can I use ../ or do I need to say http://etc?

Thanks for sharing any experience.

Or can I refer to them relatively, as ../home/menu_var.js for example?Yes, you can, though an absolute path might be easier. If the absolute URL is, for example:

  http://www.example.com/scripts/menu_var.js

then the relative URL:

  /scripts/menu_var.js

will always refer to that location when used within your site.

How do I specify the file names within the menu_var.js file? Can I use ../ or do I need to say http://etc?You can use relative URLs here, too. Resolution should be against the location of the script.
