HI... does anyone know how to set up a webpage that allows users to enter text that is then saved onto the server so that another webpage can display the changes?

I don't know who to di it but i can tell you it can be done in, Server Side scripting not client side. You can use Java Script to send the information to a Perl, PHP or CGI script that will save it to the server. But java script cannot do it on its own

.alias. is right. I can write such a script, but there are many security and efficiency concerns to be taken into account first.

What server-side languages to you have installed on your server?
How will this text be viewed? On its own, or in an HTML page?
Will you be using a database or a simple file? If a file:

Do you want the user to be able to specify the filename?
Are you running a *n?x- or a Microsoft-based server?

If a database:

What database software are you running?

Do you want other users to be able to edit the contents of the file, or just add to it?
