Venom
Another fun Marvel supers film. Introduction was overly long, but otherwise it clipped along at a decent pace. Funny in places too. But I doubt I'll remember it in six months time, these are excellently produced popcorn movies. Watchable and forgettable

There's not a single movie, but I do love some from different ages of cinematography, like "Passenger" with Jack Nicolson from the age of Italian neo-realism or "Stalker" from soviet new wave, and of course all movies by Akira Kurosawa

Yes! I've watched it two times and there are many interesting things I didn't know about on my first watch. Donnie Darko is definitely one of the best movies out there!

Heat with Pacino and De Niro
Green Mile with Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. That was the first movie that impressed (even shocked) me so much that I could not even forgot the film for years. I am not ready even to re-watch it as I am not ready for the second storm of severe emotions.

Hi there Alan.
you are a very naughty boy, and I very nearly reported your post as spam. ;)
Of couse, that's not to say, though, that the forum moderators won't remove it.:D

Duplicate post? I don't see the original:
Coothead,
I appear to have violated a rule. I forgot. Thank you for the alert.
Can you delete it? Am I able to delete it myself?
A.
Update: I couldn't delete it, but I cured it.

Hi there Alan,
I am not a moderator but just a mere mortal with no powers.
Just let it go, and the staff may also just let it go, seeing that
you are a long time member with, I presume, a clean slate.

I wouldn't say that any rules were broken. This is a casual thread and relevant links are more likely to be allowed.
In general, the longer a person has been a member along with a higher post count, the more the member can be trusted to post links. Regular Coders are even allowed a small degree of self-promotion. If a person has over 100 posts and has been around for over 6 months without any issues then I probably won't even look over the links because I trust that person.
Still, in this section, it is probably a good idea to limit favorite movies to 1 or 2 per post ;).
Feel free to post questions in a new thread about what constitutes spam or general rules violations and I would be happy to answer. However, some things we try to keep secret because there is a dedicated group of spammers who are constantly looking for ways to get around the rules so that they can sneak in a link to get their SEO up.

My favorite movie is Friday the 13th.. It reminds me of the distant 2009 when I watched it with my friends

That's a good one, but it does not make the cut for me.

And I love almost all films with Leonardo DiCaprio, but special attention should be paid to the film The Survivor, for which he received an Oscar.

I'm in love with so many films actually. But A Beautiful Mind is still one of the best! Russel Crowe is great here.
