1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.6.1)

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem: I had good success with the Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.6.1) when I tested it under a subfolder under my websites root folder.

However, it only works when I access it via IP address - it doesn't work when I use my domain name.

For example - I created a folder "testfolder" under my website's root - and wrote index.html with the Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.6.1) example.

This works great when I access by direct IP address such as: http://nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn/testfolder/index.html

However when I try to access it by using: http://mydomain.com/testfolder/index.html - the script does not run.

Displaying the code in the browser (chrome) both attempts present the contents of index.html properly.

Any advice, suggestions or references to other documentation would be greatly appreciated.

This post may be a repeat - I can't find the one I submitted earlier.

I'm testing the Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.6.1).

I put my test in a subfolder under my webserver's web root folder. it works fine when I access it directly by IP address - such as:

http://nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn/testfoder/slideshowtest.html

However when I access by using my website's domain name, the slide show does nothing. Here's what doesn't work:

http://mydomainname.com/testfolder/slideshowtest.html

I have a normal SSL. And I could find nothing in the .htaccess parameters that looked like it might help.

When trying it both ways - the chrome view source shows the identical content accessing the page either way.

Any thoughts, suggestions or references would be appreciated - Thank You!
