Images that do not reload

Hi all!

I'm currently making a website that uses a lot of images on each page. Many of these images are indentical on every page, so i figure it would make sense if these images do not need to reload each time.

I have no idea at all how to do this:confused: , but would dreamweaver support this in any way?

Generally images will be cached on the first use and retrieved from the cache each subsequent time unless there is something you (in your code) and/or your server and/or the browser are doing to prevent that. There are several things that might prevent images from being retrieved from cache and instead being reloaded from the server. I've always had good luck simply using the relative path to the image wherever I use it on a site. Oh, and even more important, making sure there is only one copy of any particular image on the server, with all pages that use it referencing that single copy. Are you doing anything different than that?
