Hi, I've been learning some website languages and have recently given myself a challenge - build a site that gives the user opening times of local businesses around either an input from the user or their browser location, something like this site (https://www.opening-times.co.uk/). Are there any APIs or something similar to that where I can go to get info like that on demand? I'm thinking Google Maps might have something but I've not used Google APIs a whole lot so really don't have a clue where to start! I also haven't used location in anything I've made before, has anyone got some tips relating to that?

I appreciate there's a lot to what I've asked but any advice/tips help! ;)

Cheers! Bill

You'll probably need to build some kind of scraping tool.

Yeah,*that's a great idea. However, more and more companies are working remotely at this time, so you can't predict their opening hours.
If these are the big companies, they probably use*software*like Slack, Trello, or even WorkTime.
You can*check*their activity in these programs, even*if they are closed due to CoVID-19.
